As a relational integrative psychotherapist, I place relationships and their influence on our wellbeing at the heart of my work. Central to this is the therapeutic relationship itself. I’m not what’s called a “blank screen therapist”; I bring myself to our work, engaging in an open dialogue with you. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I always welcome honest, open feedback. Drawing from psychodynamic, somatic (body work), and humanistic approaches I will tailor our work to your individual needs.
Additionally, I have a specialist interest in peri-natal mental health, specifically birth trauma and supporting mothers and couples to adjust to the transition into parenthood.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked in higher education, addiction services and NHS secondary care. I have also managed counselling services for Mind, and women and youth charities in London and East Kent.
Prior to training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a project manager and producer in the arts.
